Upgrading phone advice

Hi I have been looking into upgrading my phone but I am bit confused what the difference is between ringing my network provider (T-mobile) and ordering the upgrade through Carphonewarehouse?

Also when I rang craphonewarehouse to see what they could offer me they asked me for my T-mobile password, is this normal practice?

NO! If I have your password as well as your other details, I could sign you up for an upgrade contract you might not want.

Go into the T-mobile shop.

They can offer you better, more tailor-made deals face-to-face. Always worked for me.
