Youtube being unreliable?

Weird. I've gone over to Chrome. All working fine. Then Youtube started being slow again. So I'm now using Firefox for Youtube and everything else in Chrome. That seems to work quite well. Open Youtube in Chrome however and it lags and then doesn't bother loading the pages properly.Happy chappy0

Odd - I seem to have fixed it by clicking on the "maybe" button for "do you want to revenue share on your video".Happy chappy0

Well, it worked last night but it's stopped working again tonight.
Just sits there at "waiting for s.ytimg.com" and then gives up after 20s of that.
Then the page loads with all the formatting gone, just blue and black text.
I've changed nothing on Firefox or Chrome since last night. So maybe this is just something outside my control. I'll see what happens.Happy chappy0 -
I just tried this and it worked:
Add this text to "hosts" file:
74.125.162.39 static.cache.l.google.com s.ytimg.com

Out of curiosity, I've been checking Youtube over the last 24hrs, and I've got exactly the same, waiting for s.ytimg.com and no formatting.
I use Firefox with NoScript, Youtube and s.ytimg.com are allowed, and it's always worked before.
I'll try the suggestion and report back, if I can find time.:)Move along, nothing to see.0
