3DTV - any recommendations?

Looking for a new TV around 46'' size and thinking to go for 3D. Any recommendations on what the best buys are?

I know Sony are doing a VAT back promotion till Xmas eve but their sets seem to need a separate 3D transmitter.

Just brought a sony bravia 40 inch 3d hd tv. Had it for just under a week and is superb... fab :-) I know they do a 46 inch version too.

As well as the vat back, if you pop into a Sony center (I visited the one in bluewater) you can get a blu ray player and 5 3d blu ray movies thrown in for a small price too.

(this offer used to be on everywhere in currys, john lewis, comet but now only seems to be in the sony stores) Hope this helps :-)

We have a Samsung 55" 8 series 3D TV
done a lot of research and wanted LED and not Plasma, ours also upscales from 2D to 3D, ok it's not as good as the true 3D but still good, when we brought it we did get quite a few things thrown into the deal which was good

The only one we never looked at was the Sony one as it was'nt out when we brought ours.
