i am currently on tiscali 2mb unlimited with free weekend calls. I find it very slow & they have restricted P2P downloading
.
How do i go about leaving them? I have heard its quite tricky as they try to get you to stay.
Also what is the best provider to go with? I have a budget of around £15pm, I want is as fast and reliable as possible!!!

I too am considering the move from tiscali (pants customer service) have a look at - http://www.adslguide.org.uk/ - their chat forum has many suggestions - the best I've found so far is pipex in your price band, tho there is a download limit
do the speed tests as this may be your problem on tiscali - done mine using their own (and another http://www.giganews.com/performance.html) speed tester & am getting an eighth of my 2mb - am phoning today to find out why

If you cancel with Tiscali, make sure you do this in writing (email/letter).
I cancelled with them a few years ago. Cancelled the payment, and thought that was it until a few months later when a letter from a debt collection agency came through the door. Reading around at the time, they had done this to approx 2000 people around the country.
It took months to sort out, and they only admitted their mistake after I threatened to get my solicitor, and a court claim involved against them.
Keep records of everything. Keep an eye on your bank statements after cancelling. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. They are completely useless when a problem occurs. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
