Tesco Phone shop + 2020Mobile Frustration

I ordered a mobile 3 days ago on Tesco Phone shop, where their O2 and Vodafone contracts are run through a company called 2020Mobile.

First, I didn't get a confirmation e-mail and after calling 4-5 times, they said that they would pass the order to their processing department, which would then do a credit check etc etc.

I've already got an O2 contract, but want to get a new phone (HTC Desire HD)...

has anyone had any experience with Tesco Phone shop and 2020Mobile? I wonder if I should just call and cancel the order.

Can you clarify your post?

I.E. was it an upgrade? has it been processed? Why are they saying they need to credit check etc. surely that has been done already?

What have they exactly said to you?

Tesco is good at selling groceries (sometimes)
2020 is the company that fulfills its pay monthly orders.

Contact them again, otherwise contact O2 and get them to check if a new connection has been issued, they can trace via your postcode and name etc.

I called them (2020) on Saturday again, asking if they had processed my credit check, but they told me to wait till Tuesday or something, so I cancelled the order (didn't get a cancellation confirmation or anything).

I ordered another phone through Vodafone today and the credit check went through.

If the first order does magically arrive, then I'll just return it.
