i tried to order one - it kept rejecting my card - bummer!!! then they bump the price up - the sods!!!

No its still there, you have to do a search for DVD in the search field, then its is there at the top.

It has gone (though on the item page it states £31 in the basket it's £169)

Over 900 people have viewed this thread, if half of them have ordered one then that's 450 units shifted, if some people have ordered a couple, you "might" be looking at a volume shift of around 600. They've probably not got more than 100-150 in stock. Most, if not all, are going to be disappointed anyway.

and if i order one for myself and one for a relative as an xmas present does that make my actions greedy? Bulk buying is one thing, ordering for a friend or relative, who may want one but could never afford one, doesn't make you 'greedy'.....
