Oh thats some list there! Yeay for the V Festival, havent been since 2009 myself
.
Groupon is great, I've booked a few things through them, there are lots of other similar sites too.0 -
Hi Littleboots. It is a pretty long list, I really need to get myself in gear and get it all done and not roll it over to May though!
A suprise £8.93 was paid into my bank today from a cashback site. Didn't think there was anything in my cashback account so I was well chuffed. Was tempted to put it towards going out this month but instead I rounded it up to a nice £10 and paid it off my credit card. Unless I was desperate for the cash I would have paid it off the card anyway, but especially as it's money I wasn't expecting it's not money I would have missed since I didn't know it was coming, if that makes sense?
Finished my first royal iced cake over the weekend for my course. Not as good as I was expecting but good for my first go. Not got a class for 4 weeks now what with school holidays and bank holidaysMight practice some sugarpaste models for the next four weeks. Next time we will be doing animal modelling with sugarpaste and I have challenged my tutor to make a meerkat which she has never done, might give it a go myself too.
Off to look for survey, mystery shops and look at the cashback sites.£9,000 (Ish) in 2013

Well done on putting your cashback money to the ccard. I have to get more up on that sort of thing and get some extra pennies.0 -
Lovely day today! Makes me wish I had a garden so I could sit out in it after work and at the weekends.
My friend emailed me today to say she is doing a bootsale on Sunday. I have been meaning to Ebay for ages but not done it yet so I'm thinking the boot sale will be a great opportunity as we should be sharing cars and therefore sharing the car fee (will work out about £5 each). If we have too much stuff between us though and need a car each I'm not confident I will break even so will have to re-think. I've mainly got clothes and a few other odd bits. I did a boot sale a couple of years ago and sold quite a lot of clothes and shoes. I'm just wondering what peoples thoughts are about selling clothes on Ebay as opposed to boot sales? What have you found most profitable? My thoughts were I would start anything on Ebay at 99p and if it only went for 99p by the time all the Ebay/paypal fees are taken off I would earn about 20p! So if I sold say clothes at a boot sale for 50p and shoes for £1, I would probably end up with about the same profit, plus if I don't sell at the boot sale I can try Ebay. Any thoughts greatly appreciated!
Just working on sorting out my small earnings certificate to post off tomorrow, then that will be an item off my list£9,000 (Ish) in 2013

Did the boot sale today. Took £46.30 which after my pitch fee and food and drink I made a profit of £38.75! Am really chuffed as was worried I wouldn't sell anything. If anything I thought I might get about £20 and I made nearly double that so I am so pleased. Not bad for a Sundays work! Still got alot to get rid of so will either do another one or will Ebay. Now I want to hunt around the flat for more stuff to sell, got the bug now!
I know I have another 2 pairs of shoes in the spare room but I couldn't find them last night, so need to find those. Thinking of taking a braclet and ring which are both white gold with diamonds to the shop tomorrow, see if they will offer me anything for it. When there was a big thing with selling gold they offered me £30 which I didn't think was good enough for a £150 bracelet, but now I am thinking they are just sitting in my cupboard so if they offer me that again the money will be better paid off the CC than just having them sit in my cupboard being useless.
Need to apply for a part time job early next week. Blockbuster are advertising here so I figured why not. Even if I only get a 4 hour shift once a week it will be worth the money. Just need to print my form out and get it in. I can't do it at home though, not sure if I can connect the printer to the laptop and we need to update our antivirus on the main computer before we use it again.
Might bake some banana cakes later on. We have some bananas that have gone a bit too brown to eat but will be lovely in cakes.
Hope your all having a lovely weekend, the weather here is certainly good for it, even went to our first BBQ of the year yesterday! Got to take the chances when we get them with our British weather! Spent quite a bit of our food money for food and drink for it but it was a nice day. Will be rice and peas for us the rest of the month :rotfl:£9,000 (Ish) in 2013

Paid off the £40 from the boot sale today. I am so fired up since the boot sale to make some more money and get rid of the CC's that I took a bracelet and ring that I have been meaning to sell to the jewellers and got £50 for the two! I know it's not much when you think they cost £250 - £300 for the two originally, but it's old ex-boyfriend jewellery (which I know sounds harsh) that I'm never going to wear again that's just sitting around being useless. Better having the money to put on the CC. They gave me a cheque so that should clear on Fri and I can pay it off.
Trying to put off going to the dentist at the mo. One of my wisdom teeth is playing up again. I know I should go to the dentist but I'm really scared they are going to tell me I have to have it out. I'm fine with a local anasthetic and being awake, but I have never been put out or had a sedative and it scares the carp out of me! Plus, I will need to pay £16 to go to the dentist, plus money if I have an infection for antibioticsI know I should go and get it dealt with, I will either wait a week and see if it's just growing and the pain goes away, or pop in there on the way to work in the morning to see when I can get an appointment.
Really must fill out the Blockbuster application tonight and get that in tomorrow!£9,000 (Ish) in 2013

Braved it to the dentist the yesterday, turns out my tooth is just growing again and there is a possibility I have a mild infection, but nothing salt water and mouthwash won't cure. The dentist gave me a prescription for antibiotics anyway just in case it doesn't start clearing up by tomorrow. Am thinking of getting them anyway though in case it flares up again in the future so I don't have to go to the dentist again if I haven't used them this time. Good thing was they didn't charge me for the appointment which I thought they would so that was a bonus!
Hopefully my £50 cheque from selling my jewellery will be cleared tomorrow so I can pay it off the CC. Also need to get the money work were going to give me for making cookies for one of the guys birthdays, feel really awkward asking for it but they did offer. Will try and sort that out next week when the bosses are in.
Really feeling the need for some adventure at the moment, before OH and I start to seriously settle down with house buying and stuff, but it's all money which at the moment I just don't have. Feel a bit bad sometimes because OH is so good, he doesn't have any debt. I've even said to him I can't afford to go on holiday this year because I want my CC paid off. He didn't seem to mind and I said to him why doesn't he see if his sister wants to go skiing or snowboarding, but he hasn't spoken to her about it yet I don't think. This year I just really want my CC paid off, then next year and maybe the year after just have some adventures. There is so many things I want to do it's just doing them all! I would love to go travelling but I'm not sure OH does completely and I wouldn't want to do it without him. There is the whole having to give up our flat we rent, then where would we live when we come back, having to give up our jobs etc. I think that's what OH is worried about if we went travelling. Maybe I will have to stick to some adventurous holidays instead?! I also decided today I need to make more of my time. I was talking to one of the guys at work today about going to the gym and excersising and I said to him I am always under the impression I don't have time to go out excersising, but I totally do. Instead though I veg out and don't motivate myself. So, I need to make more use of my time and motivate myself more. Part of it is that I will feel bad if I am out all the time because obvoiously I want to be in or out doing stuff with OH too, I think I need to find the right balance!£9,000 (Ish) in 2013

I know what you mean about the gym, I have plenty of time to go but tell myself I dont then end up vegging in front of the telly of an evening. To be fair I have started listening to the radio and dancing around the house rather then watching the telly but I really should join the gym0

I tend to have a little dance around to the music channels on TV in the morning whilst I am getting ready for work, gets me right in the mood  I have found recently that just one night on the town dancing the night away does wonders for my stomach. Only problem is going out costs money which I am trying to be good with at the mo, but once my cc is paid I will probably be out all the time. I maintain that I should have been a professional dancer, I should start doing some dancing lessons again then who knows, maybe I will be in the next Lady Gaga video
My arm and shoulder has been killing me for about a week, god knows what I have done to it. It has been getting worse so if it doesn't get better over the weekend I should really book an appointment with the docs, I just don't want to be prescribed anything as it's more money! However, I did find £17 in my bag the other day. It was in a pocket I never go in so I don't know how long it has been in there! Was well chuffed though! I want to pay it off my CC but I need to get a few groceries and want to get my grandparents some flowers today when we go there. Might be going out Sunday night too and need some money for lemonades. If there is any left over I will pay it off though. Work still owes me £11 for making some cookies for one of my colleagues birthdays. Feel a bit awkward about asking for it but I guess I should.
Figured to pay off my CC by the end of the year I need to find an extra £182 on top of normal payments. Not sure how I am going to do it but I will give it a shot. I have got £16.66 (I think) coming from cashback site so will pay that as soon as I get it.
Hope everyone has a lovely Easter break whatever you are doing. :easter: I have bought 2 cookie cutters in the shape of a chick and a sheep, so will hopefully get baking over the weekend.£9,000 (Ish) in 2013
