best pc diagnostic software

Options
Hello... I’m interested to know what software people could recommend for a good free pc diagnostic tool i only used the eurosoft pc check where i worked and it’s very good but very pricey, so if any one has any recommendations for the closest ''but free'' software compared to eurosoft...

thank you all.

Microsoft Fix it centre is free, however the tool you use depends on the nature of the problem, or are you just going for a poke and hope approach.

unless you mean hardware (which very rarely fails and still lets you run a diagnostic), none.

Are you looking at testing memory, CPU, hard disk, ... etc? And as Penrhyn asks, "Why?"

If it's a Dell, they provided diagnostics either on a partition or downloadable from their Support and Drivers website, and burnable to a CD.
