In their terms and conditions I remember AMEX quoting that very same thing about "the card may attracting a fee if you don't spend on it"Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0

My track record is clean and I have been spending £1k + a month and have paid every month sometimes to same amount spent. So Amex are making big money from the retailers. I was looking forwad to my Free BA flight only £900 spend to go and I sould have paid 2 bills just before they canceled the card if I had I'd have spent the rquired £10k on the card in one year.
I hope the Mail on Sunday do a good job in exposing Amex for the barstards they are.
Have a number of other cards so does not affect my life other than losing free stuff0 -
Something is really wrong at Amex:

They seem to be going out of their way to alienate their long standing customers? Any suggestions why?
