Yes I emailed them and they did reply quickly but as they were busy they just sent standard reply regarding free monthly allowances which didnt have the info I needed. Ive also followed the prompts on 4444 and also sent a balance text to 20202 and received a reply stating exactly how many texts I had left and also a balance of 300 minutes and 0 seconds WAP usage.0 -
was the email adressed to o2 customer or was it sent to you by your name, cos the emails i usually get are,1st one automated acknowledgment and then get another which is sent to me by name with answers to my questions if you are not happy with your response i would email again asking to reply with the correct answers to your questions rather than a bog standard automated reply tell them you have 300 mins so why are you being charged emphasise you are angry.... and how many minutes you have been charged for , they might chuck on some extra minutes (just guesiing mind;) )0

You don't have free 'talk' minutes, you have 300 'wap' minutes.
This mean that you are able to go onto the wap (internet) using your handset for 300 minutes free of charge.
You would need the correct settings for this though as this is an old deal which requires you to connect to the internet using WAP CSD as oppose to WAP GPRS which the majority now do.
Contact O2 is this is not what you want on 08705 678678, and the can change this so you get free 'talk' minutes easily.CPW Retail

As i said, the package you have is an old deal whereas you get free WAP minutes.
The older phones use whats called WAP CSD, with this you are charged per minute and the quality of information you can get is limited.
Most handsets now use GPRS, which is billed in Kb's and Mb's as you mentioned.
The newwer tariff will give you 1Mb of browsing and free minutes talktime, but 1Mb isn't very much to be honest.CPW Retail
