humax HD-FOX T2

Hi

I am looking to get a humax HD-FOX T2 for freeview Hd and i know they have added PVR recording to the box.
could anyone please tell me how well this works and what hard drive they are using?

I used to have one a couple of years ago and it had a DB35 ACE drive fitted. It had a limit of 511 files. I eventually switched to a Topfield because of the hundreds of Apps available to customise it.

hmm you must be thinking about a different model, the humax HD-FOX T2 doesnt come with a drive fitted

The HD version is HDR-FOX T2 and I have one. I don't know what make of hard drive is inside (not in the handbook) but it's 500GB.

I've had mine since the back end of August and it works really well. Has all the usual PVR stuff, records 2 channels, EPG etc. It puts all the series programmes into folders.

Mine is also wired to PC (ethernet) and can see files on PC - music and photos etc.

Very simple to set up and simple to use.
