Trying to stop eating bread

Hi - I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am trying to cut down on carbs and am really struggling for breakfast.
I don't like cereal, porridge, or fruit or yoghurt.
I really crave savoury things in the morning.
Does anyone have any bright ideas for what I could eat for breakfast instead?
Thank you

if you prefer savoury in the morning how about grilled tomatoes and mushrooms - hardly any fat if you use non stick pan; can reduce amount of cheese as wellTH0

I havne't been able to eat bread since I got pregnant. Major aversion! I am getting on okay with cereal though.
What about fruit and yoghurt?
Have you tried millet porridge? You can buy millet flakes in health food shops and it cooks just like porridge but tastes much sweeter. Lovely with grated apple or pear in it.
A decent breakfast sets you up for the day so you shouldn't skimp. I like the idea of grilled mushrooms and tomatoes. I'd add scrambled egg and beans too though so you're not tempted to snack before lunch.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
I never eat breakfast
But when I get the munchies mid morning it's hard to beat an omlette. What about a poached egg with bacon, or mushrooms and grilled tomato?

I have been trying to cut down my carbs too, bread has always been my biggest craving!!! Esp now it's getting colder - it's just SO comforting!!!
Have you thought about granary or wholegrain etc? (low GI) M&S do quite a few in thier 'count on us range' and unlike other brands they are sliced as a thick cut so don't end up like biscuits when you toast them and only 60 calories a slice...
I know it doesn't answer your exact question but it's a compromise, if you cut out the things you like altogether it will be a lot harder for you to stick with it... It's much better to find a compromise0
