Parking Ticket Payments

Hiya Guys. Have a bit of a problem. Got a parking ticket today and i'm trying to get out of it. Here is my idea see what you think! I note on the ticket that the car type is correct along with the registration however the colour noted was wrong. It says "silver" but my car is very light blue. Thinking along the lines of contract law the document before me is incorrect. They have two thirds right but the other third is incorrect. Can I get off on this technicality? Thanks in advance!

    Is it a council ticket, or private parking ticket?
    Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
    They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
    Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

    Okay well do nothing then, the ticket is not enforceable and its safe to completely ignore, they will send you a series of threatograms that will try to scare you, if you look at the sticky thread above called what to expect you will likely find the company involved, on that who is the PPC ?

    The common word used for PPC's is IGNORE !

    Start reading the sticky threads at the top first, two by Crabman are very useful: 'PPC letters & scams, what to expect' (shows you pics of the threatograms the company and their pet debt collector will send the registered keeper. Ignore them).

    And see Crabman's other sticky 'Read this first' which gives the info you need to understand that you have not received a real fine and do not have to pay this bunch of chancers. That thread also gives you the link to Watchdog in May, where a legal expert showed Anne Robinson how to make a PPC fake ticket into a paper aeroplane.

    Then just pick any other threads on that link that catch your eye which are about private parking tickets. You will soon learn all about this shocking scam and KNOW that you are safe to ignore the threatograms. Join the club!
