Leaving cooker door open after use?

Hello I have a built in hotpoint cooker that came with my newbuild house. i was thinking of leaving the door open after use to heat the house....can anyone see any reason why i shouldnt keep the door open after use? will the heat damage the outside of the cooker or the door seals etc?? thanks nathan

with the oven door shut would cool slower and go all around not only room ie cupboards surrouding the built in oven whereas when open cools quicker as hot hits cold.
