Aww cheers. Na GFH don't mind you spilling beans... I had pictures on FB after about 90 minutes. Decided best way was to just post a picture of my husband and the baby.
They decided i just needed waters broke so was waiting on a slot. they burst them at 6:20am and told me to rest for 2 hours then they would start a drip to make the contractions come but just about 7 they started on their own. She arrived 7:36am and I didn't tear or heamorrage so I got out yesterday lunchtime. I could of been out the day of the birth but decided to stay over night just in case. She was 8lb 3 and 21 inches long which considering she was a week before due date and 2 weeks before what we thought was due date based on an early scan a fair size. I'll pop a piccy here later today when I get SD card out the camera.
So there we have it.. baby all sorted so now to move forward..... plans...
I cheated and did a grocery shop online when in hospital so that is coming 9-11 today.. Alot of it is a bit junk food TBH, frozen pizzas, chips, potato wedges, biscuites and fish fingers. Mr A do mini waffles that are mashed carrot and swede that the girls love so i have a bag of them too. think next week will consist of what can be thrown in the oven teas while we get a routine sorted.
We plan to go register her on Monday and do some bits and bobs in town while there like change over the address on kids savings accounts.. open one for her once we have a birth cert and deposit the kids christmas cheques because we have not done it yet
Today I think I will get OH to call child benefit and tell them we have another baby.. they need to send a form apparently which needs to be completed and returned with birth cert so may as well get it requested now. Credit card statement arrived while I was away so i'll sort out payment for that and I think I will have a look online for sofas. Hubby is off until 7th March so we hope to have chosen one by then and secured a 0% deal but in no rush really.
We have car issues. Car 1 does not fit 3 carseats in the rear.. it will take 2 seat plus DH in rear but its a squish and a half. Car 2 can at a push but she is SORN'd at the moment and won't start.... She started on Sunday but its been a bit cold here and she hasn't had a run for about 6 weeks so DH thinks its just the battery.. It means car is a hefty priority.. My dads friend ownes a 2nd hand car dealership and MOT station so he does all our car work. My uncle owns a motor parts factor so I think we will be sending DH in there. I was in last week paying out MOT from december and he had a nice scenic in that is stunning but an MPV and I don't lie MPV's. DH says he doesn't mind them so he would drive than and I would drive his which is an estate but only just fits us all as an uncomfortable squeeze because most of the time it will be me and kids anyway as OH will be working and at weekends usually he drives and I referree the kids in the back so it would work.. I actually only noticed PPI settlement was deposited mid-way through writing this post and I was going to say I hope PPI arrives before DH goes back to work because we will be able to buy a newer car but now... well just told DH and he is all ooo can we go look today.. umm no we are expecting visitors plus the kids coming back from their sleep overs at grandparentsOnly issue I could see with the MPV we looked at other than I am not keen on MPV's is its a 2.0l petrol and with fuel prices....but fuel is expensive anyway and the MPG for a car the size we need isn't great anyway and the car we will be getting rid of is a 'performance' motor so fuel economy is pants anyway. Insurance will be a bit lower I guess, and car tax is 1 band lower I think but would need to check. I am so so annoyed that we need a car though.. We had planned on replacing car 2 this time next year and if we all fitted in car 1 comfortably then we would of stuck to that and probably overpaid mortgage or similar still it happens
I'm all of a tizz now..MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

Re the car: these things are sent to try us LP
I think the PPI has come at a great time - though and what a lovely reason for a splash out on an essential (a wonderful new baby)
I love the name too - I'd never heard it before but two of my friends now have Ava's. There's a lot of V names around at the moment as we know a lot of Evie's as well.OPs so far £42,139

I had heard the name before because she was a 50's/60's film star and married to Frank Sinatra
I am quite into the whole hollywood glam type stuff and I thought it sounded quite cute then but seems to of gained popularity in recent years.
I am right up for dealing with stuff today. a sit on your bum nd deal with paperwork type dayMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
Ever noticed - baby number 1, the culture shock changes your whole life, and then all subsequent ones life goes on as normal without a pause for breath.
I loved the fact you sorted your food shop out from the hospital. So you.
Glad you are home, and the money for the new car came at just the right time. I can't believe all you have planned for the next few weeks, but if you feel up to it, you might as well make the most of it.
Brill it wasn't a section in the end, as you should be totally back to normal by the time your DH goes back to work.0 -
not only that but we are all invited to a 40th birthday party tomorrow and we are aiming to make it for a small appearence.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
