I had to pay £5.62 as didnt have confirmation of reservation at £2.50 was gutted but suppose still a bargain

I bought 2 today @ 16:04 after reserving last night. My printout said 2 £2.50, subtotal £2.50. Your saving £5.00. Self Serve said £5.62 please , so I went to Customer desk and SA said £5.62 please. I said they were only £2.50 in the sale, so she had a little fiddle with the machine and said ' I'll have to get someone to put a digit in !!!!!':rotfl:

Then we waited for a bit and I said with a straight face 'What are we waiting for? and no word of a lie she said 'The manager's got to come and put his digits in !!!!!:rotfl:

I thought blimey, I think I'll get a job at Argos.

Anyway he came and put his digits in and I was charged £3.75 for the two. :T

Thanks hun. Once it eventually went to the reserved screen they showed at 5 quid. Not sure I actually want em though!

I've just managed to reserve the last two at one of my local Argos shops so will be popping along tomorrow to get them.

Ironic thing is, I only want one but, as the OP said, it's cheaper to buy the two! Many thanks OP.

Me too :beer: i was quite shocked but apparently they know about the problem but cant do anything about it as the till system stil takes off the dicount when they correct the price to £1.25 per board.
