Avatars gone all funny!!!!

but only lets me use size 50 x 50

I'm so tiny now

(but interestingly, I haven't had a chance to reduce the colours of this avatar yet so the filesize is 3 times bigger than the old one!)

Why does everyones avatars look ok to me well all but Pats anyway but she never looked much cop before LOL.

You're seeing the copy of the image stored in your computer

If you empty you're temp internet files -

Tools/Internet options then Delete files followed by Delete all offline content

then you'll see how they really are

They look ok to me too does that mean that we HAVE to clear the cache thingy?

Do they look wonky to everybody?

looks like it

Usually holding down Ctrl while refreshing reloads an image from source but for some reason we're only seeing how they all really are be clearing the cache/temp internet files

I made a thread about resizing avatars here

but I'm worried we'll all make them small then the size'll change again

Does it say 50 x 50 max size for eveyone when you try to edit avatar?

Yea it says 50x50 when when i tried

also tried to clear my off line content and keep getting error message, rundll32 or something and not responding ???

well it does for me. After they'd gone haywire this morning, I changed it to a 50x50 image and it was fine. Then after Webby's post I thought it had gone back to being ok so I tried to change it back to the 80x80 one I had before, but it won't allow it - says image is too large and must be 50x50.

Is this a permanent change to that size of avatar, Webby?
