We have just come off the phone from 3 intending to give 30 days notice on two contracts which are now up.
They have offered us 100 minutes and 100 texts, on a twelve month contract, using existing phone, 11 months FREE and the 12th month will be £5!!:j
There is no cashback or redemptions to deal with. A credit for £235 will be made against the account on the 1st day of the contract, and providing the minutes and texts are not exceeded, we will just have £5 to pay on month 12.:T
I asked if I could have this deal on a new contract, but they said sorry, existing customers only.
Hope this helps somebody.

I was offered the same deal but I wanted to keep my number.0

Why would your number change if you are renewing a contract?0
-
Because you would have given them notic to end your previous contract, and any new agreement would mean having a new number.GeoThermal wrote:Why would your number change if you are renewing a contract?0 -
The best offer 3 can give is a PAC code!Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

they should be able to cancel that notice if the contract hasnt actually ended yet - even if it has it shouldnt be out of their realms to get the number backYes Your Dukeiness

I called 3 and they couldn't offer me the deal I was looking for so I gave my 30 day notice. The representitive then offered me the 100 mins and 100 texts, if I took that deal then I would have to buy another phone because I use at least 600 minutes and 200 texts a month, I didn't want to take a deal that was no use to me and I need to keep my number for business reasons.0 -
after giving one months notice on both my 3 contracts i was called and offered the £5 for a year deal and i definately get to keep same number - bills and contract will just roll on a before0

Just got off the phone to them and then saw this post! I got the same deal but with the 5gbp paid as well
so 100 mins and 100 texts free. I only used the excess minutes cos I had them (average 200 a month), so hope I can keep within the new limits. Very pleased ! :j0 -
yep... been offered this one as well.. was offered as they think i am attached to my previous number so no problems there.... i have a new phone already so didn't take it up.
note they make 4 offers
1) 100 texts and minutes for 12 months at no cost
2) pass the phone onto a friend for the same deal!!
3) change to PAYG but keep number
4) PAC code0
