  • i have just remembered my car tax is due the end of april so i have decided to start transfering money into a seperate account. i have just transfered £8.73 to round my bank account up so each week i will aim to transfer money across and that way it wont be as much of a shock come april.

    i really need to get off here and hoover!!! :o

    put £10 on gas and £10 on electric this afternnon.

    i have stayed in today and completly gutted my kitchen cupboards as i like to just chuck thing anywhere!!! after 1 and a half hours, 2 bin bags of rubbish and 500 cups of tea my kitchen is completly organised!!! :D :j

    best of all it stopped me from spending money!! :cool:
    got to pick the boys up in a min then can get on with dinner in my new clutter free kitchen. :p

    i have spent the morning reading your diary, as a recently single mum too you have inspired me :D You sound like a very strong motivated person, i have subscribed and am hoping some of it rubs off on me :rotfl:

    Congrats on the newly organised kitchen .... i have mine to do as when i moved in to new house stuff literally got thrown into cupboards!

    :mad: Can't believe your x took the xmas prezzies :mad:
    Mine was trying to out do me, not that i care ;) i was gobsmacked as he earns a pitance (sp) of a wage!!!!!

    Anyway i wish you well and will pop in from time to time.

    sorry you have recently found yourself single too.
    too be honest im not that strong and motivated but when im on here i suppose i can forget about that side of things if you know what i mean!!! im quite lucky considering some people have to go through custady battles, selling their family home etc.

  • Fizzy, it was me that made the decision to leave the relationship! But it is still a sad time we were together for 12yrs and have 2 children together and i am sorry it didn't work....i did think it was going to be for the rest of my life IYKWIM x

    I am not having any custody battle or selling home either ....its a relief i can tell you :o

    luckily i dont have to think about selling home either as i live in a HA house and he moved in with his new girlfriend anyway so it sort of happened so quick. it still must be hard even though you decided to end it as obviously you didnt set out to have 2 kids and become a single mum its so hard when the family unit is not there anymore.
    he is all i have ever known really so i still cant see myself with anyone else, dont get me wrong i wouldnt have him back but i can see myself single for the rest of my life!!!!! :cool:

    I am enjoying being single, i have spent so many years thinking i need a man :mad: now, finally, after reaching 44years of age i have realised i dont :p
    At the mo all my focus is on the children :D and 'finding myself' :o
    I am getting there :cool:

  • my studying is going really well thanks, my tutor llet me pop into college and do the work at home as he knew i was having problems and at times struggling with childcare. im going back next week to pick up my results so hopefully i will have a level 2 in bookkeeping!! :j

    i then want to go straight onto level 3 accountancy in september but it is alot of money :eek: so need to save before i do that.

    afternoon diary,

    paid another £2.00 off credit cards today :j
    spent the morning cleaning so now im all done, NSD so far i do need a few bits but not urgent so going to pop into town tomorrow.
    i dusted my wii fit off last night (thanks to mummytogirls :D) and spent 30 mins on there. im going to do 30 mins every day and then 30mins with the boys before bed in the evenings as we had fun last night :j
    not much else to report, got chinese chicken in the slow cooker for dinner tonight so at least that is sorted. :)
