Phone line fault but no provider

    Would guess this too. However I've heard of a "battery fault" before in the context of broadband issues.

    There's always a good chance that eventually realisation will dawn and the entire line will be cut off along with the broadband placing the customer in breach of any minimum period with the broadband supplier.
