  • One of my moggies loves to drink the water from my babies top and tail bowl after it's been used lol
I love my New Year's day baby girl Olivia xx:happyhearxx
  • We can't lock our bathroom door because our male cat Moe thinks he is supposed to be allowed to go in with anyone who goes to the loo because he wants you to turn the tap on. lol

think yourself luck my cat wants in to the loo to bite me:eek::eek::eek: if he can't get to my legs he jumps on the pipechase and bites that sore bit on the back of your arm lol. Mind you thinking of all the body parts on show when in the loo, legs and arms are the lesser of the evils

  • lol!! my cat refuses to drink from her bowl, so she has a couple of very full pint glasses on the windowsills which are changed daily. i've also had to start using a bottle if i want water by the bed - the noise she makes drinking isn't elegant! :D
  • My cat used to lick the condensation of the windows. My dog drinks from any puddle he can rather than from his water bowl. Must just be tastier!
  • As another poster has said, cats don’t drink where they eat.
If the water bowl is too close to the food bowl they will always be searching elsewhere. Try another bowl in a different location.
Cats are more prone to dehydration, so PLEASE everyone give them an alternative clean source!

  • we have a cat that licks the glass also. my daughter calls him "that crazy window licker!"
  • I heard that it was chemicals in tap water that made cats prefer water that was 'natural' ie rain water - which our cats tend to drink.

But then that doesn't explain why one of my cats likes to drink warm bath water....:)
