My local Boots have the OOTW out, the shelf was full and they admitted nobody had bought one yet.
I also noticed that the Strictly Make-up Case was £15 off and they've reduced the Fearne Hat Box. Plus they're back on 3 for 2.

The Frontcover To Go is still a 1/3 off and 3 for 2 so obviously their OOTW aren't selling as well as they hoped and they're having to reduce them. I really think Boots have boobed big style this year with their OOTW, I can see lots of things being left for the sale.

Interesting :( so you could have got a better deal in these two by hanging on and getting them as part of a 3 for 2 :(. I wonder if the message is getting through that no one rates the OOTW much this year. Glad I didn't like either ;)

Interesting to see that the Fearne box is now 1/3 off and on 3for2! I so want the box and makeup bag, how much could eBay the other bits for???

The Strictly set is horrible, tacky, cheap looking and garish. Yuk.

Got mine!!!! There were HUNDREDS of them in my local store. Picked up one box plus two GWPs, used SS till, paid with points, spent £0, no beeps, job done! Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!

Attagirl! :j I am so pleased for you!! Glad my suggestion worked. With your 2 GWPs, each with 250 points that's another fiver "saved".

My mate and I mooched round the West End today and went in about 8 different branches. There was an SA in each one, smiling and holding out a set, next to a big display - in Sedley Place there was an SA with a set on each floor, but business was so s-l-o-w.

Those I spoke to said people were asking the price and moving on. I heard one SA ask another at Liverpool Street how many she'd sold (this was at 3 pm) and she said "only 3" and this is a really busy branch

    Roll on mid January!!

Can anyone tell me how the GWP officially works?

Yesterday I bought 3 No7 xmas sets @ £25 each on 342 and got 3 GWP. A friend went to another branch and was told by the No7 staff it is 1 per transaction - she had a sign up to prove it!!!

Very confusing - all Boots should offer the same deals.

    I appreciate your help.

There's also extra points on the Fearne set, I put 3 in my basket to test and it came up as £53.32 and 212 points.

£53.32 should get you 212 points (4 points per £1 spend).

The answer is very easy - nobody knows!! You can even go in 2 branches 100 yards apart, and find the same product with 2 different prices.

At one, they will keep putting GWPs through without a murmur, until the till bleeps. This happened a couple of years ago with the large P & P beauty serum, that was something like £100, but on half price. Someone got 6 x GWPs!

Then in the other branch, they will adamantly refuse to give you more than one GWP. It's the same with glitches. There was a Ted Baker Mens Navigator Set, for £14.99, half price and 3 for 2! So you paid £14.99 and got 6. Who remembers that!

Some tills put it through and congratulated the buyers on a great purchase, whereas others refused to do it.

Sorry I can't give a more definite answer.

    xx

I long for a good ol' glitch again like those Ted Baker sets!
