im bemoaning the fact that insurance doesnt really insure, you have insurance, extra warranty, at what point do you stop?
and as we know its because of the unscrupilous, so not me, maybe not you but a lot of people.
we also know that mse is about fighting for the consumer, getting back whats ours, loopholes. I dont even have a dog, but i want back some money ive fairly put in so maybe the insurance is the imaginary dog
admit it, id probably have a new tv
Are you for real? You really think that they wont inspect the tv, see that a part has failed (despite the fact that you've cracked the screen in an attempt to make a fraudulent claim) and decline the claim, oh and at the same time referring your policy to see if it needs voiding or not, due to an attempted fraudulent claim.
Like someone else said, suck it up and just buy a new one (or look into repairs or if your warranty will cover you for the full 3 years as previously suggested).
Insurance doesn't cover the breakdown of electrical equipment, its not designed to cover the inevitable.0 -

I wonder if this works?
Done. They could have at least changed the colour of the link so that we couldn't see it.0 -
Maybe I’m just being thick (or behind the curve re links) but surely if they had changed the colour so we couldn’t see it then there is little point in having it there as no one would click on it?
(With apologies to anyone who randomly clicks on apparently blank spaces to see if there are hidden links)0 -
If you want to try to claim, make a genuine claim against the retailer under the Sale of Goods Act, arguing that the goods were not of a satisfactory quality and failed after an unreasonably short time. Or commit fraud.0

It's all to do with search engine rankings. Sites like Google rank pages related to how many other pages link to them. One way to get the ranking increased and make your site appear on page one of Google's results is to spam forums with links to your site. It doesn't matter if anyone clicks on them or not, increasing the number of links is the aim.0 -
They have spammed quite a few threads today, why does it take soo long for spam posts to be removed (or sometimes never) on here?
The least tasteful of their work was spamming this thread (where the op girlfriend was diagnosed as having a cancerous malignant tumor, and was asking if they could claim on her self assurance).
