It really has to be anything American. For the worlds only superpower, with all their vast wealth, you would think they could for one thing as least attract some decent car designers to their shores. They haven't got an f*****g clue when it comes to car design.

Also considering there is a large popualtion of Italians over there who they must be able to tap. I'm sure Gino at the pizzeria could develop a better car than all the boffins combined at GMC, Chrysler, Pontiac etc.

I'll agree that, generally, American car styling leaves a lot to be desired when viewed through our eyes, but every now and again they produce an absolute cracker.

OK fair enough, I must admit to being a fan of the old muscle cars. But their standard fair is bloody awful.

But lets not forget the yanks will stick a V8 in a station wagon that will still take 10 minutes to get to 60 mph, yet still return 10mpg.

Most of the V8 station wagons are fast and dangerous, a bit like gun toting "'Murkins".
They drive a lot of Euro/Japanese cars over there.
