MBNA - Poster credit insurance fee??

I have this on my credit card ... anyone know whether this is connected to ppi?

    Have you got a payment protection fee on your card? Did you intend to take out cover.
    You may have not de-selected protection on your card when setting it up.

    Yes it existed as Payment protection cover & then the narrative I just quoted and then back to Payment protection cover .... so all v confusing i have to say. Is it one of the same?

    Normally card companies charge you for optional cover which is if you become unemployed or need to look after a partner, spouse, parent or child full time or you were disabled due to an accident or sickness (Disability) you may not be able to meet your financial commitments.
    Not sure how much this can cost ( I think it may be a % of your spends) but decide if you need it if not cancel it to save you money.

    I don't know for sure as I have never had it on my statement but can only assume that it is. Give MBNA a ring they are very helpful.

    You appear to have posted this thread on the wrong board.

    This board is specifically related to issues on reclaiming bank and credit card charges.
