Got a great tip elsewhere of biting both ends off a penguin biscuit and sucking the tea through the remainder. Sounds disgustingly indulgent, but I HAVE to try it as I don't make hm buns [STRIKE]very often[/STRIKE] ever
You can look in and laugh at my vain attempts to fly - I'm sure people will 'tune in' just to see pictures of other people's houses too:D :rotfl::dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -
My boys are 2 and 3 so a pretty major barrier to organisation, sanity and cleanliness.
Clean the oven would be a good one - any suggestions for good methods would be appreciated. Cleaned with nasty expenisve chemical stuff a few weeks ago so not too awful at the minute..... and no gloating Lynz, I know you have just done yours.
TNG - buns are really easy and your boys would probably enjoy making them. My youngest SS is 11 and he thinks it is a great treat.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Hi, all! I like the idea of a car clean.
So, how about
Monday - drawer rootle: sort, clean and tidy
Tuesday - toy fling boogie
Wednesday - bookshelf declutter
Thursday - car deep clean
Friday - hotspot of your choice. Sounds like there'll be lots of ovens!
Lynz, will you be official FlyLady adjudicator, with your ostrich duster of truth and kitchen timer of power?
Extra marks for photos, and perseverance in the face of great adversity (including children under 5).
TNG, have you tried muffins with the small TNGs? I'm a recent convert, and am amazed! They're much easier and successful then fairy cakes, and have the advantage of being bigger!!! See how well they went down at yesterday's DFW afternoon tea. Recipe soon to be with you by way od PM.

I am about to start clearing out too, not too up on the technology front though, so there won't be any pics, (besides I am far too embarrassed to show you this house in its present state -Im talking clothes in the hallway in piles - ready for dds' to put away, cant see the floor in parts!) Trouble is I try and do everything at once and end up in more mess.
Will try and organise myself and let you know how I get on. Im glad to hear I'm not the only one who seems to hoard when we should be clearing!!If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0
