My husband just got a ticket from Predator Security Uk Ltd, for parking without permission on Winter Garden Car Park in Morcambe yesterday.:mad:

The fine is for £100 or £75 if paid within 14 days.

Will this be a public or private parking charge?

It'll be private- and you can almost certainly safely ignore it.

Tell your husband the ticket is a scam. just Google firm 'Predator Security' and/or the words 'private parking ticket scam' and then read any forum results you get.

On here, you could point your husband in the direction of the sticky threads at the top of the board, mainly those by Crabman such as 'PPC letters & scams, what to expect' (which shows the threatogram letters these scumbags send) and 'Read this First' which has legal info and it has the Watchdog link with the legal expert showing Anne Robinson how to make a paper aeroplane out of a private parking ticket:

Do not let him pay to make it go away, it would be like sending money to a phishing emailer!
