Did anyone buy a car from carsandfinance in the end? If so how did you get on? Would love to see some feedback on this company as there isn't much on the web.0

I have been offered a very good deal from Cars and Finance on a new Skoda Yetti, trouble is, having read the other reviews and noting the comments about not getting the V5 straight away, i now have doubts. I wont be taking finance with them, so shouldn't I get the V5 straight away and be the new 1st registered owner? Also if not, how would it affect my insurance and how is this overcome?0

no idea about the company mentioned but its standard procedure to buy lots of cars off a major manufacturer and be treat as a fleet buyer then punt them off to jo public, this way to keep the manufacturers sweet the finance company aka the front of house sales people keeps the log book in their name for 6 monthsI have been offered a very good deal from Cars and Finance on a new Skoda Yetti, trouble is, having read the other reviews and noting the comments about not getting the V5 straight away, i now have doubts. everyone knew it happened and turned a blind eye but the scrappage scheme blunted it all and i thought it died a death
insurers are aware if you tell them the details
main problem is if supplier goes bust and you put a hefty deposit down and they reclaim motor because payments not met by holding company
thats the jist anyway so use due diligence afore yee commit0 -
