Renewing your O2 Broadband..... Cheap TCB deal Last year.

Hi guys, i think this might be affecting others on the site who took out the TopCashBack O2 Broadband deal last year that left us getting broadband for around £1.40/month (was 3 months free, £10 for 9 months, £75 cashback so £15 for 12 months)

Anyway, it runs out today and have rang them up and been offered 6 months free.... then £10 for last 6 months. Good offer and they said thats the best they can do. So went ahead with the cancellation, just to have a look around.

What offers have other people had?? Anything better??

Also, could i take out another NEW contract with O2 via TCB under a different name (someone else in the house) and still be eligible for the Cashback? Or will they consider the address as the existing member?

Thanks for any help guys
Tom

Not unless you are gong to put in another landline-you already have O2 on your line, so how can you start a new contract on the same number without terminating the old, regardless of who's name is on the account? You can leave and rejoin, but I think they require a minimum gap in service of 6m?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    +1.
In July 2009, o2 and orange ran promotion of free broadband with contract phone. Was with o2 already and they were not able to offer me. Explored about disconnecting and reconnecting. CSR advised of 6 months. So, went with orange.
