toochoosey, I wouldn't like it as it would mean somewhere else for dust to collect. Buy then I am very allergic to the stuff. I put things in drawers as much as possible.

    Evening all!

I was all ready to post on here this morning about having not had any work again, when I got a call for work at 8.40! Talk about leaving it to the last minute to book a supply! I didn't get there until 9.25, as I took 5 minutes to get dressed and the school was a way away. I had an interesting day of making Percy the Park Keeper's Park with Year 1 children. The morning wasn't too bad, as I had a TA, but the afternoon I was all on my own, and 27 children doing cutting, PVA gluing, and painting, as well as the couple of boys who were determined to cause trouble, then the tidying up afterwards, were a challenge. Still, I survived. :T I've got pretty good at ordering children to tidy up pigpen stylee although I was missing a fluffy mule. :rotfl:The mystery object game has to be the best thing I learnt on my teaching practice. For those of you who are curious, you tell the children that you've got a mystery object in the room, and that whoever tidies it up, will get some sort of reward (my special stickers in my case); you don't tell them what the object was until everything is tidied up. Children that age love it, and even my Year 4's loved it.

So, although I've not done any flying at home, I've done lots in school, so hopefully I'll be let off a bit.

Well I'd better call my friend to cancel meeting up on Friday, as I've got to go back to the class I was in today (fingers crossed the park gets finished tomorrow). On the plus side, at least I've got some money coming in (working tomorrow too).

Hugs to all who need them.

    oooo that's genius...
my Y3's are 'much loved and precious' children which roughly translates as 'clearly get everything done for them at home'...(not ALL of them but most) so I am adding this to my strategies...

Boddy - I shall think of you and your Mum every time I hear that now...she looked like a real character (on FB). Hope it all goes well and that there are smiles as well as tears, as you remember her with, I hope, joy. XX

Big hugs Boddy xx I'll be thinking of you on Monday xx

Sorry I've not read the thread at all. I'm just sitting down for the first time today. Everything I wanted to do has been completed. Mind you, I know i'm tired because it took me five minutes to work out why the vacuum didn't reach all of our bedroom. I tried unplugging it, I turned it upside down. Then i realised I'd not actually uncoiled the flex when I plugged it in. Brain dead me thinks!

At least tomorrow all my clients are having treatments where i get to sit down - bliss!

Hope you're all having a good week and not being affected too much by the weather.

    Hugs to everyone xx
