Well I did say "Also, the Sky Netgear router access...." in case they did have a Sky branded Netgear.

Also, my Sky branded 834GT has custom firmware loaded on it (freely available at a forum for Skyuser's) and it does indeed allow the router to be used as a wireless repeater.

Ok, time for an update... sorry for the delay... I!!!8217;ve managed to get the dlink route to connect to the netgear route. I can connect my laptop to the dlink route in the other room but only via an Ethernet cable... I can!!!8217;t get the wireless part on the dlink route to work... any ideas ???
