Netgear and D-link router help....
Comments
-
Well I did say "Also, the Sky Netgear router access...." in case they did have a Sky branded Netgear.No-one mentioned either router was a sky one....the netgear was from orange - but don't know if it's standard netgear fw or ISP-frigged. It's worth pointing out that a lot of the popular netgears can't operate in bridge mode, e.g. DG834GT won't, so if your setup is going to work, yo'll have to keep the layout as-is.
p.s. RIK, you having trouble sleeping at the mo?
Also, my Sky branded 834GT has custom firmware loaded on it (freely available at a forum for Skyuser's) and it does indeed allow the router to be used as a wireless repeater.
