ipod touch vs netbook

im after something small and cheap (under £180 if possible) to connect to the internet anywhere in the house to check the basics, email, ebay, share price etc What would be better to get, an ipod touch or cheap small netbook Any suggestions please?

Netbook for me too. Plenty of 10" examples on the argos ebay seller for £180 or so. Majority of buyers have no problem, but they have been known to cockup an order occassionally.
