paypal refunded me twice, please help

I had a friend who had something similar happen to him; he did a withdrawal to his bank account and they deposited 2 lots of money instead of 1 (for the same withdrawal amount).

Eventually they figured out their mistake and emailed him (the non-standard Paypal emails are always the best) - they just removed the extra money from his PayPal balance (and sent it negative).

Think he just paid it off with future sales; not sure what action they would have taken if he'd tried to close the account (wasn't as much money as the OP, around £80 I think).

If I was you, I'd just let them know. Unfortunately, dealing with PayPal fairly regularly myself, I'd be very surprised if they rewarded you for your honesty though.
