Skyscanner not allowing cheapest option

I tried to book return flight Glasgow Prestwick/Faro return 15/12/2010 to 22/12/2010 via Skyscanner. It said Ryanair but did not give me the option of going direct to Ryanair. Instead the only option available was to book via Bravofly. This gave a price of £54.11 return. Reasonable, but going direct to Ryanair gives a price of £31.99. I have been directed to other booking agencies before with Skyscanner but this is the first time it has given me no option to book with Ryanair directly.

It is probably Ryanair's little terms and conditions box tick that prevents this.

Ryanair doesn't like screen scraping websites so it does everything it can to block them.

But given that you managed to get a price why didn't you just go to the Ryanair website by typing in Ryanair.com in the address bar

Skyscanner is a commercial site and although a useful tool for research, it relies on affiliate earnings as well as advertising for income.Ryanair dont pay commission, Bravofly do.

I did and that is why I know the Ryanair price. I posted this as a warning to others who may not be aware that Skyscanner is not as straightforward as it may seem.
