Problem with DAB radios!

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place but I couldn't find anywhere to post radio questions!
My daughter has two DAB radios on different floors in her house. They both worked perfectly then suddenly they both stopped working. The display is still there, just no sound! (I brought one to my house to see if it worked here but it didn't.) Has anybody any idea why they should both stop working? And, if so, could you explain it in simple terms as neither of us is very technically minded!!
Many thanks.

If both failed at the same time then it would indicate a reception problem. Is your property on the same transmitter. If not, have you retuned it for your area? Can you receive stations, even though no no sound? No free lunch, and no free laptop

We suspected a transmitter problem ourselves and, yes, I should imagine we are on the same transmitter as don't live far away. We are "receiving" different stations on the display screen but no sound. Any ideas where we go from here?"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. Try "retuning" it. With a DAB radio there should be a menu for re-scanning all available stations.Of course, I may just be talking b****cks!0

I get this sometimes with my bedside Roberts DAB radio. It's a radio hardware problem, and I don't know what causes it. Sometimes it comes back by itself after a few minutes, other times it needs me to turn to FM and back.
Try a hard reset (i.e. turn off at the wall, wait for 30 seconds, and tuenon again). Does that being back the DAB?
As you had perfect reception before I would have thought it unlikely to be a reception problem, unless you or a neighbour has just started using Powerline Ethernet adapters which are known to cause interference to FM and DAB with the new fastest models.0 -
One of the radios is a Roberts (think the other is a Wharfedale or something similar) Have tried retuning it but to no avail. The menu display seems stuck on FM - but no sound forthcoming. DD has a neighbour who is a computer geek so the Powerline Ethernet adapter could be an option as to what caused the problem - will get her to ask him if he uses one! Well if it's stuck on FM, how do you know you can still receive the DAB stations? I agree, do a hard reset and retune it.
Is there a problem with the DAB service from your local transmitter-engineering work maybe? Can your neighbours still receive their DAB signal? No free lunch, and no free laptop
