  • Please note folks - this is the discussion thread and requests for tickets.
What each Thread is for Needs to Be made Clear !

This is what it actually Says on the Top of the "Ticket" Thread
Please can you post all offers for cinema screenings/free tickets in this thread.

Please can you try to keep this thread for the offers only, so that people can find the offers easily
This can be Read two ways ...new offers ...or people offering their spareTickets

Both could be Considered as Offers

the Two threads have only been up and Running a couple of days and already Confusion abounds

Personally I would keep the Ticket one for Both New and Spares ...But I am sure others will disagree as there are already posts on the Ticket forum saying that spare Tickets should be posted on Here ....Clear as Mud eh?

At least all tickets would be in the same thread ...otherwise sifting as before will be the Norm again and it is clear Nobody wants this

Perhaps the "Volunteer Board Guide" can clear this Up otherwise we will just end up as before.

Check the 'Free Cinema Tickets' thread regularly, and apply for tickets using the codes posted by kind fellow MSErs. ;) I don't know whether there are still tickets available for 'A Good Year' (tonight) - you may want to check this out. ;)

Of course, you can register with Seefilmfirst or Momentum yourself. These companies may send you codes for free screenings from time to time:

Once again, don't forget to check the 'Cinema Tickets' thread regularly. Sometimes there are offers from other companies, offers in the newspapers etc., and you can find out all about these from the above thread. ;)

    HTH :)

    Thanks alot!!
  • I ditto Hackeroonie ;)

Anyway i went to see A good year tonight with 3 friends and we thought it was really good, i watched the trailer and didnt think it would be that good, but it really was enjoyable.
Also ive been to lots of screenings and tonight was the first night that there were 2 men at the door asking to see mobiles, i just walked past and said i didnt have 1, they checked my friends was turned off. i do put my phone on silent but vibrate i have 3 kids and if anything happened and they needed me urgently i would want to go to them. This was in Derby Odeon.

Same at Odeon Milton Keynes - for the very first time. ;)

We enjoyed the film - very nice settings, a clever script, and good actors.

Hopefully new screenings will come up shortly. ;)
