Does anyone know if this is a pyramid scam?

HI PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP??? I've been approached by someone to join a so called Art Network Marketing Scheme called PLANLINE and using an online gallery supplied by INFOCUSINTERNATIONAL.

I think it sounds suspiciously like a pyramid scam - the head office is in the Cayman Islands .... and it has an enormously complicated marketing plan which, I think involves everyone buying art... but it seems you CAN buy in at different levels....

Anyone heard anything at all about it? I'd be really grateful if I could get any info at all!

    You would need big wellingtons to walk to the Cayman Islands should you take up this offer and all go's wrong.

    I'm surprised you've even given this offer any consideration. Send your money to charity and your return will be greater.

    Don't know if its the same one but there was a prog on tele about a scheme like this where no-one made any money. Might be an idea to search the BBC site as it might well have been Watchdog.

    If you are looking for an extra income stay well clear of too good to be true biz opportunities. Check out opportunities that are British, registered with the Direct Sales Association (a body that lists credible companies) and I suggest a company that has a track record you can properly vet. I fell for a number of things before I eventually found a company that worked for me... glad I kept looking.

    As Robert Maxwell said on the Russel Hearty show many moons ago " If every one of your viewers send me a £1.00 I will ensure that it go's to a good cause" dispite Maggie Thatcher saying she admired this man.

    Many have been ripped off by these scams and those who hav'nt are ripping other people off. Why would you want to do that ?

    I am a little puzzled why you ask as the web site is easy enough to find by the info you supplied or is it just to bring it to are attention , if not, please be careful you don't allow your self to be ripped off and allow your self to be dragged into these so called get rich scams.
