When this paypal money lands I'll OP £90, then I need another £130 ish to knock another month off. That's achievable next month I think.

That's great, I was hoping to knock a month off next month but think I would need to OP £300 so it's not looking likely! Glad you can achieve it.
    June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!

That's the beauty I guess when the mortgage is smaller to knock months off quicker. I'll bet you'll surprise yourself though.

It makes me think do I really want to move when the mortgage is knocked down a bit? The total would def be five figures and I would hate it lol.

When i put my £500 in today it took off 3 months. It does help as you get smaller. It feels a lot more dramatic.

It's probably the heat affecting you as much as anything else. I have felt so mardy myself. Tiredness, and just can't be bothered but have to be.

How do you work out when you pay off another month from the mortgage? Are you spreadsheeting?

You mean you haven't got a spreadsheet ff? I have my own that I devised with help from google. There are plenty of templates available and I think it depends on what works for you. I love seeing a minus figure at the bottom of the spreadsheet which means another month has gone.

Not much happening in the way of banking, no nice or nasty surprises this morning. Nothing much doing in the way of money making either this morning. House is a tip, and I really should be trying to sort it out!

Yay got a crown on DY :D

Me too. I am so cheesily happy about it too. I might need a virtual trophy cabinet at this rate to store them all in.

    Well done.

It is all about the little things for me. Each one is like a little pat on the back, and i am sure it is worth more than £1.50 in terms of mental well being. A whole day of smiling at least. :D
