You should be ashamed of yourself, disgusting.0 -
I bought 2 x 400g Cathedral City Mature in my Tesco today as there was a shelf edge sign stating that they were 2 for £4. Bargain(ish)!
I checked my receipt (as always) and I was charged £3.99 each and the offer discount was not shown so went to Customer Services who refunded me £6.98 without question. Result, 2 x 400g for £1. Even more of a bargain.:j
Just searched prior to posting the details and found this thread so I thought I had better share with you on this thread rather than creating a new one.0 -
Is it just our Extra that's disabled all the 3 self check scan machines in the Aisles under the guise of 'we're waiting for spare parts' to force us to take stuff down to the checkouts to price check, anyone elses store done this ?, ours been down for 12 months now :eek:0

Why? What is the moral point here?
Poster seems to have shown good sense and ingenuity. Nobody has suffered.0 -

It is one thing if you were going to use all 24 packs yourself, but to buy so much and then sell it to make profit isn't in the spirit of MSE - yes the OP has made money for themselves but I thought the point of MSE was to let others know about bargains/glitches and to help each other benefit from them.0 -
Just to let people know, this isn`t working in Yate,Bristol. I sent my sister the text after reading on here, she went to her store in Yate, I called her about the sugar puff DTD too when she was there, she called me as she was waiting for "help"at the self scan bit.....the reason for the call? oh, to pretend I hadn`t given her enough money for the shopping I`d asked her to get!!!!lol She was very impressed with the arden offer on boots site tho so I`ve won back a few brownie points and think I may still be in with a chance of a present this Christmas!!0

I can't say I agree with you. The poster has made perhaps £20 profit having taken a risk by buying stock then selling it on for a small profit.
Isn't that what our nation of shopkeepers do every day?
You seem to agree that nobody has suffered.0
