Can anyone please sortout a link to a previous version then??0

Anyone with multiple logins from MSN and hotmail. thats one of the new features of 2011 and even if you are not installed 2011 , hotmail on the browser is using it. There are new settings in 2011 to turn multiple logins off cause it is most annoying to have messages sent to your browser when your not looking at it or even closed without signing out.
So unless you install the new version you will not beable to turn off that feature.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740 -

Go to the top rght hand corner of your email box and click appear offline there, next time you are appearing offline and open hotmail it does stay as appear offline.0

I'm on the older version and when I'm set to offline in messenger then click on the hotmail icon it opens he internet browser and it shows me as online.
the fix (at least for me) is in the internet browser hover over your name in the top right corner and select 'Appear offline' and it remembers it for next time.
Thanks for all the input everyone. The above has worked for me:beer:.
Previous versions can be found at filehippo. You have to uninstall the current one on your computer first.

Tried it mate no luck, it seems Im only allowed to install the new version, this is getting really annoying. Or maybe I'm uninstalling it wrong before going back to installing 2009, I have no idea.Millionaire wrote: »0

Well the way I did it was to uninstall Windows Live Essentials via control panel and then installed the older version from that link.
Ii is also better to access and install messenger via Internet explorer rather than another browser as it can play up.0 -
