*** Remembrance weekend 13th/14th Nov Chatty Chat ***

Hey sleepyheads....where are you all :D

Looks like a lovely day out there (well where I am anyway). Today I will be Flylady-ing..., filling in some paperwork and tinkering with some jewellery.

No idea what's for lunch or supper so will need to get my thinking cap on there - any suggestions??

Hope there's a Bond film on later to snuggle up with.

What's everyone else up to today?

  • Hiya Suzy, its a lovely looking day here too though what its actually like outside is a different matter. Off to the post office today to post some ebay things. Managed to get a refund on train tickets & have also emailed travelodge to see if we can get a refund from them too, we were meant to be going to a gig in London next Friday but no way are we able to go with other half recovering from his operation, so thought i`d try my look to see if we could get any money back, we managed to sell the gig tickets already so hopefully we won`t have lost too much money.

    Where is everybody else today?

Kassi how did your Vie go?

Well done Wannabe...so you've sold the gig tickets and got a refund on the train tickets too? Maybe Travelodge could give you a voucher that you could use sometime in the future if they won't refund your money? That way they get to keep the money, but you haven't totally lost it.

Hope they come through for you though.

  • Yes it said on the train site that the tickets were none refundable but i thought if i dont ask i don`t get, i`ve got to send the sick note back along with the tickets just to prove i`m telling the truth. I`m hoping that travelodge will go along the same lines, i don`t mind if the just transfer the aye as we love london & go a few times a year. I`m sat watchinng the Lord Mayors Parade on BBC1 at the min, i love that sort of thing.

    ey up all.

just been out for a cracking run - 7k almost. good work on the intervals and happy to extend them next week.

again no weight change for the 5th week running - stuck on 17stone (well, between 17'2 and 16'12), but again feeling considerably fitter and of course - its the long term goal. looking and feeling leaner and fitter.

was so pumped this morning for the run, glad got out and done it - mega hard hill climb included.

OH still at weightwatchers - here's for success!

and so, to the pub! (in a wee while)

    bananas are not filling.

Wow Doomy...7k is FAB. I get to the end of my road and I want to throw up :(

Rubbish about the weight loss (or lack thereof). It will happen...it has to. Unless you're eating too much of course?

    Hi everyone,

Car broke down on way home last night. Got wet and stressed (always worry about dangerous strangers after that lady was killed years ago on the M5).

Got towed to garage and they can't get replacement part until Tues. Thankfully a friend is lending me his car so I can get to work/uni. May need to get time off if not ready Tuesday but lots better than nothing.

    Yay for friends :T

Had to pay tow fees as breakdown cover with Autoaid, so hoping invoice comes nice and soon so I can send it off and get repaid.

eatin too much - duno. certainly eat nowhere near as much as i used to!

currently my exercise is building the muscle - when its built and im stable running regularly, the lbs i reckon will shed easier :)

body image is going the right way.

anyway, mcd's for lunch and beers for later - thats the plan of the day, lol :)

Evening all, hope the weekend is going well.

Was a bright but cold day here, need to bring washing in off the line.

Strictly has started and I have Tesco Indian Take-away for two for me and OH and a nice bottle of white for a little later.

Hope everyone is doing what they want to be at.

    Enjoy.
