Wow! Thanks Pip! How very detailed.
I have 2 big windows that are apparently double glazed but v old and draughty... Think I will go for the lazy option and pin some fleece to the window-side of the curtains... They're full length and the window takes up almost all of the living room wall - bookcase takes up the rest - so hopefully it'll make a bit of a difference. There's a curtain on the door, which is lined but might line it with some fleece too. Thanks again! Some things are so easy all of a sudden but yesterday I spent half an hour on homeware websites looking at new £100 curtains!

Whoops sorry if too detailed - I'm dyslexic - too many words are often a curse - I'm rubbish at explaining stuff
I hope it helps - much cheaper than new curtains!!!!! I know its not very 'interior' designer - but its a good cheap way of thermally lining windows
I tend to pin things -easier to remove later I tell myself :rotfl:Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -
:rotfl:Not at all... Keep 'em details coming.

I'm thinking something like this might do the trick: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/60-inch-Width-Brown-Polar-Fleece-Fabric-Material-/130321842722?pt=UK_Crafts_Fabric_Textiles_SM&hash=item1e57c982220 -
Morning all (oops, it is 1.20pm!). It is eldest's birthday today, we are making cakes instead of buying, and where we'd usually have gone out for dinner and bowling, we are staying in with a domino's and the wii (will hopefully find a domino's code on here!). Must also clean out the guinea pigs and do some laundry. It's flipping cold today
still, jumping around on the wii will soon warm us up!
Have a good weekend everyone
