ops, you are right, just noticed that all the dates are from last year. will edit my post.0 -
Bluewater normally has one outside with an ice rink. Not worth a special visit as it is just a few stalls, but definitely have a look round if you are going anway.0

I went to it last year and I think people should be forewarned about the hill. It's extremely steep, hard work going down as it had been raining and people were gasping for breath when they got up to the top again, (me included) They need to supply oxygen.:rotfl: :rotfl:socks_uk wrote:Lincoln Christmas Market is fantastic but be warned...
It gets very crowded at certain times. very busy in the evening but that's when the best 'atmosphere' is. It is totally impossible to get around with a pushchair (In my opinion) in the evening and little children may get a bit frightened at all the crowds of tall people squashing to look at the stalls. Also, because of the cobbled streets at the top end of Lincoln, may be a little uncomfortable for wheelchair users if they have to use the road instead of the pavement (my mum went once but couldn't stand the pain the cobbles gave her bottom!)
Maybe best to visit during the day when it's less busy and people, of any age, who are at eye level to the stalls may get a chance to enjoy them

All that aside, I had a brilliant time, and was absolutely shattered by the time I got home as the coaches have to park quite a distance away from the actual market and Cathedral area. Just make sure you do some fitness training before you go and wear comfortable shoes.0 -
Manchester is great for geting you in the Christmas spirit. We when last year and I got a little christmas tree for outside that had been coated in wax to make it look like snow think it was about £100

hiya:)
i am from lincoln and the market is an excellent one, it does cause a little upheavel on some local roads for us but i have to admit i think it is worth it
It does get very busy so if you are not into crowds then maybe not for you.
We have all the traditional stalls selling mulled wine(proper stuff by the germans), hot chesnuts etc.... then there is kids rides, hundreds of stalls etc....
Don't think you would be disapointed.
