Now that CPW have lost interest in selling Vodafone, there don't seem to be many interesting deals about. Or am I wong ??
I will be after a vodafone (£30-40 ish) deal over the next few weeks, so any feedback gratefully received.
The phone'll be for mrs orlwaysbroke, so points will be gained for style/function/feminity (??!!).

..I'm on the same mission, looking for a phone for My Girlfriend Who Only Has A Credit Card "For Emergencies"...
The bod in phones4u today offered me a range of very feminine little numbers, all with stuff thrown in and the equivalent of half-price tariffs (thru the usual discount, cashback combination).
They're really pushing Vodafone - surprise! - and the best I got out of him as an offer was an 'exclusive' tarriff (hmmm...) of 500 anytime minutes, 1000 texts, a Samsung E900, 512MB memory card and discount/cashback down to 20 quid a month (18-month contract).
You'll be pleased to learn that if you go in and make your enquiry, you are not greeted by an american slacker looking a little too pleased with himself...
Hope this helps!0 -
Hi was that deal offered to you instore. Ive been looking arounf for vodafone half price or discounted line rental offers and have not been able to find any.
Does anyone know if these will appear on Voda.0 -
Feigning disinterest in a branch of phones4u is like a red rag to a bull - though watch out for things offered "for free" or "at a discount" that are offered under the same terms by Vodafone anyway...0

Hi,
I'm currently pay £13pcm for 600 minutes off peak + 250 texts. This last year I managed to get a half price line rental deal (I threatened to leave) which has now expired.
I use my phone mostly for text messaging (about 100 a month) and don't make many calls from it as we have talk talk free landline calls.
Do any of you know if it's likely that I'll get a cheaper deal than this? I don't want PAYG. If not, shall I just go for a free upgrade?
Thanks,

Is this really available sounds similar to "deal" given to daughter and friend(see post) which she is being charged £35 per month for. Vodaphone and CPW saying there is no tarriff at less than this.0 -
...it's a 40 quid per month tariff from Vodafone, but Phones4U offers discounts and cashback 'incentives' to 'knock it down' to the equivalent of 20 per month (the offer given to me was for the first 12 months of an 18-month contract).
Before taking up any offer like this, check the forums here as there are a lot of stories of people struggling to get cashback/discounts that they were promised......
Get ALL the information out of the customer service person making the offer. They want you to buy, so it suits them to sit with you for an hour discussing the minute details!0
