Matalan Clearance Store Bargains

Well I went yesterday to the wood green one and I have to say they had decent stuff there, especially their pjs. Their tops were nice too, but alot of the ones i liked were about £6 each. It was hard to find nice tops that were £1-£2 each, but I managed to find 2 nice tops that were £2 each. Didn't find any that were £1, in fact didn't find any clothes that were £1 at all lol. I had £22 love2shop vouchers with me, and had to add £12 cash as me and family spent £34 overall. If it was closer to my house then I'd definately be there every day, but the train journey and the cost of the train journey for family that went (brother, sister, mum, dad and myself), was too much and in that sense it wasn't worth it. I could have probably stayed forever trying to find more bargains especially in the racks that are all over the place, but I wanted to get home in time for merlin lol. Oh and some of the stuff came out cheaper at the till aswell.

EDIT: Edited to say that their jeans are rubbish lol.

Sunderland store still has loads of stock. Just as I was leaving they were sorting some space to put out more knitwear

I went on Thursday and got a suit jacket for £2. Today I've been in and got a pair of black dress trousers to go with the jacket and they cost me £1.

Friend of mine got 3 pairs of jeans for £4.

Also the wifey on the till said they are getting stock in all the time.

A lot of stuff is just tat that they buy in for the shop, i personally think its not really worth a trip.

Called into the Sunderland one on the way to the MetroCentre this afternoon, still loads of stuff, overheard someone saying they were coming back next week as there was a delivery due / more stuff to go out
