In our house we have blue jobs and pink jobs. Yes, it sounds all very silly but it's a running joke. The blue jobs are things like take in the logs and coal for our wood burning stove, all electrical/plumbing maint jobs that need doing and general "hard" work out in the garden. Pink jobs are those around the house. Problem in our house is that DH was soo well trained by his mum in the art of using bleach that he does loads of the pink jobs so they are kinda pinkyblueish!!! :rotfl:
In our house man jobs are all the ones I don't like.

I hate to be the one to go against the grain with the debate but im lucky that I found out I had fertility problems when I was really young but the Dr told me im in the minority because so many women leave it too late and then they find out they mightve been able to do something had they tried when they were younger. Obviously I know not everyone is in the right position to try when they are in their 20's but alot of people assume its going to happen for them and put off untill they have thousands in the bank , nice big house , big car etc.:o
I presume the key issue is the way it is presented. It can be presented in a way which implies that anyone having children over 35 is irresponsible and putting their child at unnecessary risk. I'm sure there are lots of people who choose to delay having children for career/materialistic reasons but the media can give the impression that everybody having children over a certain age is doing so for those reasons which is understandably upsetting for those who took that long to conceive or hadn't found the right person etc.

Im hoping that I have a sudden "glow" one day though!
I think it's a myth this so called pregnancy glow thing.
Yes I've had consultant care last pregnancy and this one and have found it to work better for me.
Consultant care must vary significantly. Mine consisted of three appointments (would have had a fourth if I'd gone post dates) and the 36 weeks one was with a registrar who wrote "feeling much better now" when I said, "I'm still being sick".

I've gone totally off curry at the moment which is unfortunate as I'm sure there are at least a dozen in the freezer.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
