    Hey Everyone!
Not had a laptop in a few days - have been reading but my phone plays up when i try to post from it. :(

    Congrats Fuzz!!
Emsy - hope its not too long for you!!

As for me - first day in the bold for me, had a sweep yesterday and was 2 cms dilated. Last night contractions got to every 10 minutes - cue excitement only for it to die down when i went to bed:(. Still contracting but not frequent enough for any trips to hospital. Bet she waits until x factor is on!!!

    Hope everyone is well

    Hope everything goes well!

Good luck to Emsywoo too, and welcome all the newbies.

EA I have the AngelSounds doppler and it's great, I could hear my baby's heartbeat at 13 weeks, and like to listen to it every now and again for reassurance! :) Keep trying, I'm sure you'll be able to hear it soon, it's pretty unmistakable. I like the fact that your doppler gives you the bpm, that's a good idea. Have you heard it at the MW yet?

I've ordered a free bodysuit, yay! What a great freebie. If it's nice I may buy more, though have read Vertbaudet have carp delivery times, so better get in quick for delivery by May haha.

I've got a temporary Xmas/NY job at a popular supermarket, for some extra cash. Tiring driving then being out, but hoping once we actually start working rather than watching videos and form filling in, then time will go quicker and I'll be too busy to be tired! How do you ladies hold down 9-5 jobs? Hats off to you! I've only recently felt like I can actually do something, rather than minimal housework and am enjoying my food again. Baby really saps all my energy, so am on extra iron tablets. Not sure if they are working, think they are. Can't drink much caffeine so not a lot of other choice!

  • Hello Ladies and bumps. Congrats Fuzz - hope you start feeling better soon. Good luck Emsy - wishing you a swift labour!
Well I had some good/bad news yesterday, my DH has had to come back home (he's on the flight now, will be home in the morning :D) Unforunately his company lost the contract they were counting on and due to the visa controls over in Kuwait he had to get out asap. Although I am delighted that he is coming home as I have really been strugglng this past week, I'm now starting to panic over what we are going to do for money. I was looking to see if i could get a part time job over Xmas but I dont think anyone would take me on now. My DH is going to start job-hunting first thing on MOnday, but im doubtfull that he will get something so close to Xmas.
My dad and his GF are coming for tea tonight so I have gutted the house from top to bottom - looking at it now, I cant believe i let it get so messy.

Hope everyone is ok and enjoying the start of their Saturday night.

We were told contractions should be lasting for about 60 seconds and about 5 minutes apart and regular (providing you aren't too far from the hospital).
