HMV 20% off

I'm very happy with this offer. I ordered a set of three DVD's that were on special offer reduced from £19.99 to £4.99. Saw/Dawn of the Dead(2004)/Texas chainsaw massacre. With the 20% discount it costs £3.99. Also went via, quidco so saved another 9% so these dvd's have cost me a little over £1 each. To buy seperatly it would probably cost me about £20 in town so I am very happy. Now all I have to look forward to is hiding behind the sofa come this Halloween! :eek:

Took nearly an hour to get past address confirmation screen but my order went through eventually. Good luck if you're still trying. I reckon it may all fall over tomorrow !

i've been trying to place an order for the last 2 hours but it keeps crashing at the checkout stage.
absolutely disgraceful that a company of HMV's size can't cope with the demand, they shouldn't run a promotion of this calibre if they haven't got the technology to cope

It really is pathetic, maybe they're making the website slow on purpose. Faith shoes did this yesterday too.

My order went through just now quite speedily. Also, it is showing the 20% discount off a pre-order item as well as the in-stock items ... this may change I suppose when they dispatch it (the voucher said it couldn't be used on pre-orders??) but nice if it doesn't :T
