It seems to be a right of passage with boys but it's mainly started off by their Dads or other male rellies. DS has actually seen more starwars than I have!
Ah, but when they were re-released, DH was away, so I took my boys because I thought they'd enjoy them! DH not happy ...

  • I'm 33 and can remember playing Star Wars in the playground when I was little. Me and my 2 friends were all Princess Leia.....!
  • Thanks for this thread. Our 2 are sitting watching the second Harry Potter film right now and I was thinking that they'd love star wars but i didn't know where to start either.

It was simpler when we just had to wait till they came out and queue for an hour to get in!

Go in the order they came in.....otherwise if you go through 1-3 and then hit the low-tech 4 it will be a major disappointment.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

Thanks all, what a great response.

I think I will go for 4 and build up from there.

Well even if they've been watching the new Clone Wars series, kids will probably like the original 6 films as well. I'd personally watch them in order 1-6 - at least that's the order I make my boy (age 5) watch them in...
