ISa Limits

Options
I understand that the maximum that can be invested in a cash ISA £5100 or £10200 in a stocks and shares one. My question is:
If I invest £3000 in a cash ISA does this mean that the max I can invest in a S&S one is £5100 or can I make up the difference to £10200 and invest £7200 into the S&S one?
Many thanks

Cash ISAs have a maximum of £5100. S&S ISAs have a maximum of £10200 minus anything paid into the cash ISA. So, on your example, £3000 in cash would allow 7200 in S&S ISA.
